Hyfé is a biorefining company transforming food processing byproducts into high-value ingredients and chemicals through proprietary biomass fractionation technology using food-safe solvents and catalysis. Partnering with processors across California’s Central Valley and the U.S. East Coast, Hyfé engages with facilities generating over 2.5 million tons of byproducts annually. Founded in 2021, the company has secured $11M in venture capital and $500K in grant funding from the U.S. Department of Energy and California’s BEAM Circular.
