Scholarship Program
Supporting California College Students for Over Sixty Years
Congratulations 2022-23 Recipients!
The California League of Food Producers (CLFP) awarded its very first scholarship over 60 years ago. Today, CLFP continues to award scholarships each year to CLFP member employees and their children.
In the fall of 2023, scholarship awards were given to 16 California students who demonstrated excellent academic work and a commitment to positively impact their school and community. This year alone, the CLFP Scholarship Program awarded a total of $14,000 to these deserving students. An additional $12,000 was awarded to various Food Science and Engineering Clubs.

University Connections
The California League of Food Producers (CLFP) maintains a strong working relationship with various departments at California universities, particularly in the field of Food Science.
As part of its efforts to support the advancement of the industry, CLFP donated directly to Food Science Clubs and Engineering Clubs at seven California universities. This contribution provides students with opportunities to engage in industry-related activities and enhance their future prospects.
CLFP members are always on the lookout for talented individuals to join their ranks, and the organization provides website links to help companies recruit and hire top students for internships or jobs. Companies interested in participating in job fairs or other on-campus recruiting events are encouraged to contact the universities directly.
