Trudi Hughes Named CLFP President & CEO

  Trudi Hughes was recently named the new President & CEO of the California League
  of Food Producers (CLFP) by the organization’s board of directors.

  Trudi has served as a CLFP Government Affairs Director since 2010 and has been
  CLFP’s point person in the legislature. Trudi is the first woman to serve as CLFP's
  President, since the organization was formed in 1905.

  “Our board is looking forward to Trudi taking on the role of President with the many
  strengths she brings to the position and the organization,” CLFP Chair Jim Lipman,
  California Olive Ranch, said. “She has the unique mix of experience of both longtime
  service to CLFP and representing California’s large food production industry in the
  legislature.”

Prior to joining CLFP Trudi worked as a lobbyist for Walmart. Trudi is native of xxxx Oregon and holds an x degree from xx University.

Based in Sacramento, California, CLFP is an association representing the interests of food processors throughout California and works to help ensure a favorable and profitable business environment for its members and the food processing industry. CLFP members produce premium quality fruits, vegetables, juices, sauces, cheese and dairy products, snacks, nuts, seasonings and many other foods and beverages.
