Organization Overview
At Scale, we're building the electric grid of the future - clean, decentralized, reliable and resilient. We work with food industry clients to build state-of-the-art individual energy systems known as microgrids to create value for our clients while supporting the macro-grid with demand response and frequency regulation to grid operators and utilities. Our projects will form the backbone of the 21st century electric grid, and we will aggregate services from individual projects to form virtual power plants. We are a team of energy and financing experts who bring a deep understanding of the sector to our work. Our development team has been working together for decades, designing and implementing multi-resource microgrids for the commercial, industrial, and municipal sectors. Our projects integrate solar, storage, and dispatchable generation with microgrid controls, and we wrap this solution in a financing package similar to a Power Purchase Agreement. Our clients include Morgan Stanley, the US Air Force, Gallaudet University, and American Water.
